Our Portfolio spans 300 company run convenience stores throughout the UK, with a large proportion of these in South Wales/Bristol. Being a retail company should our stores experience emergency issues these are needed to be dealt with in a swift manner, we have always found that MWW's promptness and ability to deal with our requests a the 'drop of a hat' has been refreshing.
Wayne Williams and the MWW Maintenance Limited team have completed a number of jobs for us over recent years. Ranging from store refurbishments to dealing with emergency issues on weekends/late at night.
One of the more recent jobs was at our store at Pontycymmer where we needed to replace existing asbestos boarding for new plasterboard. MWW were required to re-board using 1-hour fire rated plasterboard, install a number of internal self-close fire doors were installed together with the demolition of the existing single storey outrigger with the installation of a new steel external fire door.
Throughout the work, we were kept fully up-to-date with progress with Wayne always willing to discuss throughout and accommodate with various other contractors who were working on the project. Wayne and MWW couldn't have been a better liaison between ourselves at head office and our staff in store, explaining the process throughout so all could carry on running the store successfully throughout the works.
Wayne and his colleague's time keeping was excellent, Wayne is always available on the telephone to discuss any queries that we had. After the work was completed we have been very pleased with the quality of Workmanship. MWW's ability to managed Subcontractors, building inspections and our own store staff when the necessary deliveries and skip collections was greatly appreciated.
The work was completed on time and to budget, as the property is a retail unit MWW were required to work out of hours, and on weekends in order to ensure timely completion.
